for maddie… in pictures
i don’t have words right now. i have pictures to offer in lieu of words. i will write when i am ready. but for now… for heather… for mike… for maddie… i offer these..
the only words i do have are yes, that is the poopy diaper we had to change pre-walk, in the backseat of the car. and yes, paul left it on top of the car during the walk, so that post-walk it was still there, waiting to be disposed of. and finally, yes, these are the only words i have right now because when i’m feeling uncomfortable and not knowing what to say, the first thing that comes to mind is “shit.”

Love the Maddie shirts, going to have to get one for me and my daughter.
Did you see all of the signs for the children with their names and their birth dates and the day they passed? I tried to get a picture of them, but it just turned out to be a blur.
You know last night I was trying to think of something positive, after once again looking at Maddie sitting on her chair and videos of when she was younger that broke me down, and I thought – how many children get to make the impact that Maddie made on so many lives, there are people that live way beyond the years of Maddie and do not make a impact and a difference like she has made.
You are a force of nature that today’s gray, drizzly nastiness couldn’t hold a candle do. I’m proud of you.
