wednesday watching
ok, so we don’t just watch this on wednesday. we watch it EVERY SINGLE DAY, MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY… and yes, i now know all of the words. a couple of years ago, i could’ve possibly strummed the chords to this myself, thus enabling me to perform for this for the magoo. now, i find myself rejoicing to know that my guitar is up in storage.
*WARNING* you may want to watch this after consuming a glass of wine (or 3) as your child will want it played repeatedly for the majority of the time they are awake. then you will find yourself going to bed with this in your head.

Oh I love that segment, Maya does too
Sesame Street is a big hit around our house.
How sad is it that I just had to see the still to be able to start humming the song. *sigh* Well at least it beats Dora
yeah, so much for “no kiddie songs” in our house. and the magoo will NEVER know that dora exists as long as i can help it.
You know, I think that’s kind of cute! That is probably because I have no children and am NEVER exposed to this kind of thing. LOL
My kids (4, 3, and 9 months) don’t like Sesame Street. How weird is that?! I limit the other stuff and keep exposing them to SS hoping they’ll come around. They don’t like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches either so I think that just makes them officially weird.
@Ashley sesame street is by no means the end all, be all… i don’t think it’s weird at all that your kinds don’t like it.
the pb&j on the other hand…
**I’m just crazy**
I love the kiddie songs that my kids listen to. We are all about nursery rhyme CD’s, Raffi CD’s and a whole host of other kid friendly songs. They are only young once and will only like that type of music for a short time. Before we all know it they will be listening to the music that is of their time. I drove my parents crazy listening at first to…New Kids on the Block, later Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, etc. . .Those are actually the times I dread. When they find their OWN music and listen to it at extremely loud decibels…
@Rebecca more power to ya… however you need to rock it out with your kidlets!!!
