my folks are coming down for halloween in a couple of weeks. jackson has ideas for everyone’s costumes… regardless of the darth vader and spiderman costumes hanging in his closet, and the big bird costume in my closet… that he picked out for me.
should be fun. if all costume ideas bomb, we’ll dress everyone up in moving boxes.

there are some things that our little jackson says that slay paul and i dead every time they are uttered from his mouth. words. phrases. and sometimes he’ll throw something extra in there.
he likes to keep things interesting. keep ya on your toes.
and i never want to forget the way he pronounces stuff at 3 years old. specifically…
jackson ray = yackson RAY
banana = bah-NAH-nah
thanks = fanks
thanks. it was nothing. = fanks. it was nuffing.
thunder = funder
storm = stor-uhm
basketball = bass-ah-ket-ball
milk = meeelk
oatmeal = emeal

my mom has this habit of sending packages of stuff to our house whenever she feels like it.
we’ve received pants for jackson in a padded envelope (along with jury duty notifications for me for the state of georgia)… we’ve received books, a belt (to keep jackson’s pants up), and our latest package included a harmonica.
because of this harmonica, jackson takes it upon himself to wake me up like this EVERY SINGLE MORNING.

jackson thoroughly enjoys the celebrity songs of sesame street. so much so that he often demands, “MORE SONG” after said celebrity finishes the song.
so i captured it on video… like any good mother would do. (PS: turn your volume UP.)
